Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who is well-known for his roles in well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His interest in acting began during his college years. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he has appeared in movies and on television, it is the character actors on smaller screens that have given him popularity. This is not surprising since his characters have been able to capture audiences' attention by playing characters who are on either side of the legal system.
