Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her most well-known role was as Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio, where she continued her passion for performing on stage. Her studies in theatre took place at Northwestern University. A semester was taken at the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons working in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. Anna's debut role was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. As a guest-star, Anna played in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it wasn't until the late 1990s that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral part of her acting career. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and eventual end resembles the final years in Walter White's life.
