Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who is well-known for his roles in famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Meloni discovered his passion for acting in his early days at the college classroom and then studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active on film and television however it is his roles in the smaller screen which earned him a cult fans. He is able to play two characters, one from the perspective of police officers and different. This is what has made him so popular. In the first television show, he played the part of a murderer.
